About Dave: Dave joined CAAR on February 1, 2007. Previously, he served as Campaign Spokesperson and Press Secretary for Winnipeg Mayor Sam Katz during his successful bid for re-election in the fall of 2006. He also served as the first Executive Director for the Canadian International Pharmacy Association (CIPA) based in Winnipeg. He led the organization and its 35 members through dramatic start-up growth, while managing a challenging media and government relations mandate. In his role as spokesperson for CIPA, he effectively lobbied elected officials and bureaucrats in all levels of government including members of the U.S. Congress. Under his leadership, the association successfully navigated numerous viability threats and extraordinary opposition from special interest groups. In his spare time, Dave enjoys cooking, kayaking, and spending time with his 2 young sons.

About Delaney: Delaney joined CAAR in July 2007, after working alongside them in various capacities for more than 7 years, including as a writer for the CAAR Communicator and Input with former publisher Issues Ink; Managing Editor for the magazine at current publisher Lester Communications, and freelance writer while working in the Marketing department at Cargill. In her current position as Membership Relations Manager, Delaney is responsible for soliciting new members to CAAR, gathering sponsorships for CAAR events, overseeing communications including the Communicator magazine, as well as 2 committees. Delaney holds her Master of Science degree in agronomy, and sits on the Prairie Certified Crop Advisor board as the CAAR Liaison.

About Lynda: Lynda joins the CAAR team as the Office Coordinator. She brings a wealth of skills, including excellent customer service, an education in political science, and a warm, friendly disposition. At CAAR, Lynda keeps operations running smoothly, and is usually the first point of contact for the membership calling the office.

About Fran: Fran joined the Association in January 2005, and is responsible for managing CAAR’s finances, preparing the monthly and yearly financial statements, and assisting the Association’s auditors in preparing the year-end statements. Fran is a Certified General Accountant, and has worked for over 30 years in the field. In her spare time, Fran enjoys painting water color portraits.
