Banner for Emergency Discharge Requirements Updated

Fertilizer Canada previously sent a memo to all Anhydrous Ammonia Code of Practice Certified Sites & Code Auditors on March 23, 2021, with a reminder of the new standards for ammonia nurse tanks under CSA B620/622-20 which came into force May 31, 2021. The requirement for emergency discharge control came into force January 1, 2022.

Updated guidance on the Emergency Discharge Control requirements in Protocol C10.5. is now incorporated into Ammonia Code User Guide section C10.5.  A copy of the updated guidance in User Guide section C10.5 has now been added into the Ammonia Code User Guide available on Fertilizer Canada’s website.
