In-person Nurse Tank Safety Program Certification. September 24 & 25, 2025

The Nurse Tank Safety Program (NTSP) Training is a mandatory certification for anyone responsible for inspecting, testing or retesting nurse tanks and applicator tanks under the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations (CSA B620-20).

This training on Sept. 24 and 25, in Melfort/St. Brieux, Sask., ensures full compliance with Transport Canada requirements while providing participants with the knowledge and skills needed to safely inspect and handle anhydrous ammonia nurse tanks.

Certification is valid for three years, or until a new CSA B620 standard is introduced. Participants must hold valid TDG and WHMIS certification, and have at least one year of ammonia-handling experience.

The cost is $375 for CAAR members and $400 for non-members.

Travel and accommodations are not included. Once registered, you will receive an information package by email with details on what to bring, hotel booking information and the final schedule.

Due to the interactive nature of this course, registration is limited to 25 participants. Do not miss your chance to secure a spot: Click here to Register.
