Successful Nurse Tank Safety Training at Synergy AG, St. Brieux, SK

CAAR would like to extend a sincere thank you to all participants of the Nurse Tank Safety Program (NTSP) Training, held Sept. 24–25 in Melfort and St. Brieux, Sask. A special thank you goes to Synergy Ag, Collin Martin and his team for generously hosting the hands-on portion of the training.

The training session was engaging, with participants actively involved in both the classroom and practical components. Upon completion, attendees are now certified to test and inspect nurse tanks in compliance with Transport Canada’s CSA B620-20 standard under the Transportation of Dangerous Goods regulations.

The NTSP Training is a mandatory certification for anyone responsible for the inspection, testing, or retesting of nurse tanks and applicator tanks. This certification not only ensures regulatory compliance, but equips participants with the knowledge and skills to safely handle and maintain anhydrous ammonia equipment, an essential part of supporting both safety and efficiency in ag-retail operations.

CAAR is proud to facilitate training opportunities that strengthen industry safety and compliance, and we commend all participants for their commitment to professional development and workplace safety.

Congratulations to our newly certified members on this important achievement!
