The Government or Canada recently released its rules for the upcoming 3800 MHz Spectrum auction, and has chosen to implement spectrum caps and strong deployment conditions. This spectrum will be key to delivering both 5G and rural wireless broadband, so it is important to the agriculture community.
On Monday, June 13th several agriculture organizations appeared before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food. The Committee is chaired by Kody Blois, Member of Parliament for Kings—Hants, Nova Scotia. The committee is currently studying the issue of food security.
CAAR participated in the Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Crops hosted by Canada Grains Council earlier this month.
