Canada is getting involved in the trade dispute settlement between the U.S. and Mexico, asking for dispute settlement consultations with Mexico under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

Following consultation with sector stakeholders through the Western Standards Committee and Eastern Standards Committee, the Canadian Grain Commission is implementing grading changes that will better meet the needs of the agriculture sector in Canada and grain buyers around the world.

The United States is asking for dispute settlement consultations with Mexico under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

The amendments are primarily administrative, with some related to aligning the Explosives Regulations with other regulations and policy.
