Protein Industries Canada and Innovate UK announced a new bilateral partnership to develop greater connections between the food sectors in both countries with the goal of promoting innovation in the plant-based food and ingredients sector.

Canada is getting involved in the trade dispute settlement between the U.S. and Mexico, asking for dispute settlement consultations with Mexico under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

The amendments are primarily administrative, with some related to aligning the Explosives Regulations with other regulations and policy.
