CAAR would like to extend a sincere thank you to all participants of the NTSP Training, held Sept. 24–25 in Melfort and St. Brieux, Sask.

Training is a mandatory certification for anyone responsible for inspecting, testing or retesting nurse tanks and applicator tanks under the Transportation of Dangerous Goods regulations.

CAAR plans to host a two-day, in-person Nurse Tank Safety Training session in early September, at a facility in St. Brieux, Sask., exact dates to be confirmed.

The Nurse Tank Safety Program is a mandatory training program for the inspection, testing, and retesting of NH3 nurse tanks and TC51 applicator tanks used in transporting anhydrous ammonia for agricultural purposes.
